Cougars sophomore starting pitcher, Bobby Girgenti, went 3 scoreless innings striking out 6 Falcon batters. The pitching staff battled and kept the game scoreless until the Falcons broke through in the bottom of the 6th scratching a run across on a 1 out single. The flood gates opened for the Falcons as they took advantage of some costly errors in the Cougar defense scoring 5 runs. The Cougars did not quit however as they manufactured 2 runs in the top of the 8th inning. Freshman outfielder, Robin Santos was the lone Cougar to record hits going 2-3 on the day with a double and a walk. The Cougars look to rebound this weekend playing doubleheader's this Saturday and Sunday against Onondaga Community College and Corning Community College.
