Bio
Pete is a returning sophomore for the Cougars. In the 2016-2017 season, Pete posted a 3-3 record in 36 innings pitched and was 5-6 in save opportunities. Pete averaged amlost 2 strikeouts per inning pitched. In 2017 Pete threw a complete game shutout on 3/18 against Harper Community College. Berenato was also recognized in 2017 as an NJCAA Academic All-American.
Prior to attending Camden County, Berenato was a transfer from Wilmington University, D.E. Before that, Pete attended Hammonton high school, N.J.
